FIRST LEGO League Explore 2023 - Early Bird

kidSTREAM's 2023 FIRST LEGO League Season is here! FLL Explore is open to children ages 6-10. Our season officially begins February 18, 2023, however sign-up between now and December 31, 2022, to get the Early Bird discount on your child's registration, which is a savings of $10 per registrant!

Please note that teams should form PRIOR to registration, which means that a team of up to 6 participants will need a coach, and that person can be a parent, a teacher, or another mentor to children who will need to fill out THIS FORM, as well as submit a formal background check through kidSTREAM's provider.

This program is designed to inspire youth to experiment and grow their critical thinking, coding, and design skills through hands-on STEM learning centered around a yearly theme, using the play elements of LEGOs.

Registration fee includes:

• Engineering Notebook for each team member
• Super Powered Explore Set, used by the team to complete their challenge for the season
• Use of WeDo 2.0 set for the team to program and code combining LEGO elements to further the Cargo Connect curriculum
• Additional use of LEGO bricks to embellish team design
• Custom Team T-Shirts
• Personalized LEGO Mini-figure for each team member
• kidSTREAM FIRST LEGO League EXPO Ticket; the culminating event where teams will showcase their builds, plus additional fun activities and surprises!

Limited financial hardship assistance is available for those who qualify.
